installation steps

Step 1: Calculate the total power of the module to configure a suitable LED switching power supply (the power supply should be configured with 80% power output).

Total power consumption = number of modules × power consumption of a single module

For example: 300 three-lamp 3528 SMD modules, the rated power consumption is 300×0.25=75W

Step 2: Fix the LED injection molding module

LED injection molding module fixing method:

1. Stick double-sided tape on the back of the plastic case for initial fixation, and then use glass glue for auxiliary fixation.

2. The glass glue is directly fixed; the surface of the module should be wiped clean or properly polished before installation to ensure that the contact surface is clean.

3. The bottom of the plastic case is fixed with screws.

Step 3: Connect Power

After all the LED injection modules are installed, you can use 0.75mm or 18AWG wires to connect to the power supply. The distance between the power supply and the module should be within 5 meters. If the light box is large, the power supply can be built in without affecting the heat dissipation of the module.

Installation Precautions:

1. The special switching power supply for LED injection molding module should pay attention to waterproof measures.

2. The output voltage of the switching power supply should be adjusted according to the characteristics of the LED injection molding module, and the voltage adjustment button should not be rotated at will during use!

3. There are positive and negative poles for the LED injection molding module. When installing, pay attention to the corresponding positive and negative poles. If the positive and negative poles are reversed, the module will not emit light, but it will not damage the LED module, just change the connection. Not adjustable big and small voltage!

4. During the installation of the LED injection molding module, it is required to use double-sided tape or woodworking glue to firmly stick the module slot and the plastic bottom plate. When using double-sided tape, glass glue must be applied again, otherwise the module will fall off under long-term sunlight exposure. This is very important!

5. When the LED injection molding module is installed in the blister or the box, try to form as many loops as possible, and the number of modules in series should be as few as possible, not more than 40 groups, and the colorful series should not exceed 20 groups, otherwise it will be subject to voltage drop Influence, and it is very likely to cause excessive single-channel current to burn out the circuit board!

6. LED injection molding modules without waterproof treatment should prevent rainwater from entering when they are installed in blister characters or boxes.

7. The spacing of LED injection molding modules can be adjusted according to the actual situation such as brightness and module size, and the number per square is generally between 50-100 groups. When arranging the LED injection molding module, attention should be paid to the uniformity and brightness of the light; the distance between the module and the font edge is generally 2-5 cm, and the vertical and horizontal distance between the module and the module is recommended to be 2-6 cm. When installing the LED module, do not push it, squeeze the device on the module to avoid damage to the device, and the connecting wire inside should be fixed on the floor with glass glue to avoid shading.

8. The distance between the LED module and the surface of the light-emitting body should be well controlled, so as to ensure the uniformity and brightness of the light, so the thickness of the light box is also very important.
