4. PROTECTION FEATURE / PROTECTION FEATURE

4.1 Overcurrent Protection: When the output reaches its overcurrent protection trigger point (the overcurrent point is set to 120-300% of the maximum load current, and the input power is constant in the overcurrent state), the power supply will enter the hiccup mode protection state. When the overload fault is removed, the power supply can automatically return to normal output.

OVER - CURRENT PROTECTION: The power supply shall be hiccupped and no damage shall occur when output current reaches to its over-current protection trigger point (set@ Max load 120-300% ). The power supply shall be self - recovery when the fault condition is removed.

4.2 Output short circuit protection: at any time, under any input conditions, when the output encounters a short circuit , the power supply will enter the hiccup mode protection state, when the fault is removed, the power supply can automatically return to normal output.

SHORT - CIRCUIT PROTECTION: The power supply shall be hiccupped(input power less than 3W) and no damage shall occur when any output operating in a short circuit condition under any line condition for an indefinite period of time. The power supply shall be self - recovery when the fault condition is removed.

4.3 Overvoltage Protection: When the output reaches its overvoltage protection trigger point (the overvoltage point is set to 120-180% of the maximum output voltage, and overvoltage condition

the input power is constant), the power supply enters the hiccup mode protection state, when the fault is removed, the power supply can automatically Return to normal output.

OVER - VOLTAGE PROTECTION: The power supply shall be hiccupped and no damage shall occur when output current reaches to its over- voltage protection trigger point (set@ Max output voltage 120-180% ). The power supply shall be self - voltage when the fault condition is removed.


5. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS / ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIIONS

7. RELIABILITY AND QUALITY CONTROL >

7.1 Aging: The power supply is aged at 35℃±5℃ and full load for 8 hours.

BURN-IN: The power supply shall under go a minimum of 8 hours Burn-In test under full load at 35℃±5℃.

7.2 Component temperature requirements: The semiconductor junction temperature is not allowed to exceed the maximum temperature value required by its manufacturer. span>

COMPONENT DERATING: Semiconductor junction temperatures shall not exceed the manufacturer’s maximum thermal rating.

7.3 Mean time between failures: At 25°C, the power supply works within the specification limits, its MTBF is at least 50,000 hours.

MTBF: When the power supply is operating within the limits of this specification the MTBF shall be at least 50,000 hours at 25℃ (MIL-STD-217F).


8. DIELECTRIC WITHSTANDING STRENGTH (HI-POT)

Apply 3000V AC voltage between input to output terminal and input to case for 1 minute (leakage current≤ 5mA), no breakdown or arcing. (3 seconds for mass production test).

Primary to Secondary & Case  AC3000V, 1 minute(leakage current less than5mA) for type test, (3 second for production).


9. INSULATION RESISTANCE

input to output insulation resistance is not less than 50 megohms when tested with 500VDC.

10. LEAKAGE CURRENT / LEAKAGE CURRENT

When the power supply works under the condition of maximum input and maximum load, its leakage current is less than 0.25 mA, which satisfies Class ‖Class.

The leakage current shall be less than 0.25 mA for Class ‖ when power supply is operated maximum input voltage and maximum load.
